Meditation

Meditation can be an intimidating practice to begin.

However, it is a skill that is easily learned, simply integrated 

into daily routine, and instantly beneficial.

Meditation with Kate Yoga Ryan focuses on awareness of the breath, mind, body, and environment, and helps individuals become more in tune with what is happening in the present moment. Regular meditation reduces anxiety, depression, and stress. In addition, individuals benefit from an improvement in interpersonal skills, attention, focus, and outlook.

 Great for those new to meditation, or for re-focusing and finding centering during your busy day.

A brief conversation with Kate about what is on your mind and what you need most out of the practice  will lead into a 30 minute meditation practice, customized for your specific needs.

Guided Meditation for the Fertility Journey. 

This meditation targets the racing thoughts and roller coaster of emotions that often appear on the path toward parenthood, and offers tools to discover presence, grounding and peace.

Meditation for Anxiety During Parenthood

Guided Meditation centered on down regulating the central nervous system and moving the body from the anxious 'fight or flight' state, to the calm and centered 'rest and digest' response. This meditation is geared toward de-stressing and re-centering, allowing you to return to your day

 as the best version of yourself.

Every step towards becoming a parent can leave us restless, and the sleepless nights that accompany parenthood seem endless. This meditation incorporates breath work and visualization to untangle the mental knots to help you rest.

Perfect for first-timers, or anyone exploring meditation, this workshop is a gently guided entrance into the practice of meditation, customized specifically for women.

Whether you are looking for a rejuvenating stretch session, an invigorating workout, or some dedicated time to yourself, Kate’s yoga sessions restore energy, and help you discover inner and outer strength and peace. Preparing the Way: Prenatal Yoga

Navigating your ever-evolving body while pregnant presents its own challenges, and understanding how to move without injuring yourself or harming your baby often prevents soon-to-be moms from nurturing themselves physically. With safe movement for every stage of pregnancy, this class combines functional movement and facial release with traditional yoga asanas to improve circulation and release tight muscles.

Discovering and Loving Your Postpartum Bod:

Postpartum Yoga Stretch

After the baby is here, mindfully moving the body is crucial to the healing process. This class opens up the body, targets specific areas where chronic tension is stored postpartum, and leaves you feeling restored.

Renew and Revive: Restorative Yoga 

For before, during pregnancy, or while navigating the life of a busy parent, restorative yoga is a restful, and calming practice. This restful class utilizes slower, held postures to relax the body, reduce stress, and ease tension.

Children receive the same benefits from yoga as adults- 

understanding of breath and movement,

 mental calm and resilience, and cultivating healthy habits.
